History of the club
The Adur Art Club was founded over 50 years ago by Molly Harvey, John Lingham, Ricky Hales and Ron Lines. It originally met in a small rented room in the Old School in Ham Road, Shoreham by Sea.
As the membership increased the venue became too small and the Club moved to the Shoreham Centre in Pond Road and becoame known as the Adur Art Club. Over the years the club has become one of the most prestigious in Sussex, at one time having over 100 members.
The Club meets every Thursday afternoon throughout the year at the Shoreham Centre with members working in all mediums, we also hold demonstrations and outings to venues of artistic interests.
New Members are always welcome, just come along and talk to the team.
